February, National Wedding Month

February, National Wedding Month
Posted on

Romance is in the air, love is in the air and everything happy and beautiful is in the air too. Why? Because it’s February!

Combining just the perfect amount of chocolates, flowers, and wine every day all through February for your loved one will surely impress them and probably leave them speechless, too.

It wouldn’t be wrong to say you’ll hear wedding bells soon, because chances are, someone near you will be getting married or engaged.

February is the month of love; considering Valentine’s day happens to be celebrated on the 14th of February. What else would you do in the month of love than to ask your significant other to spend the rest of their life with you!

Proposal Time!

You still have a few days in hand. Plan out the perfect proposal, one that your loved one would have never imagined. Buy the ring they would love, hopefully they have dropped hints for you. A solitaire or a halo or even a vintage ring, you’ll want to know what they would like. The last thing you’ll need to do is memorize a speech that you’ll say while on one knee, or you’ll get nervous and mess it up. It might be fun and quite memorable if you choose to spontaneously speak on the spot from the heart, but why not give yourself time and do it in the most perfect way.

There you go, that’s all you need to do to propose to your loved one during National Wedding Month. We’re sure they’ll say yes!

At Sona Jewelers you will be able to find the prettiest wedding collection. But if you already have that, we can show you a wide range of wedding bands and other jewels that the bride would love.

Time to Ring those Wedding Bells!

If you’re already engaged but have yet to start planning the wedding, there is still plenty of time to plan. February 14th hosts the most number of weddings within a single day. You could very well be one of those couples that celebrates their wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day!

An estimated 2.4 million couples get married in the United States every year. Even though holidays like Christmas and New Years see quite a few engagements and weddings, that is still a lot for the month of February! In fact, the sales of wedding and engagement rings increases considerably during February.

Another interesting fact, in the leap year February has 29 days, creating what would become an extremely unique wedding date. A lot of couples decide to get married on this date and some go to the extent of waiting until the leap year! How crazy romantic is that!? And a little humorous. You’ll only have to celebrate your anniversary every four years!

Start Planning Your Wedding!

The cold and cozy winter months have more people getting engaged than in any other season. Soon, all the wedding planning will begin and it doesn’t take long for the bride to become overwhelmed if things don’t go according to plan! That is why planning ahead of time is essential. Give yourself and your wedding team at least 8 to 10 months to make sure the journey towards your wedding is as smooth as possible.

Do not forget to communicate with your partner to lessen the stress during this time. It is a day to celebrate and commemorate both of you and your love for each other. Stick to the budgets you’ve decided, stay organized, keep calm and be reasonable during any disagreements.

If you think about it, a wedding isn’t just a day when you get married, it is all the time you have spent with your significant other meticulously planning, visiting florists and decorators, deciding the venue and finding the perfect dress.
