Official Rules for the “Sona Jewelers Mega Giveaway 2023”
Giveaway Period
October 18th – December 31st, 2023
No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win.
A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.

  1.  Eligibility:
  • The “Sona Jewelers Mega Giveaway 2023” is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 21 years of age.
  • Employees of Sona Jewelers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Immediate family members include spouses, children, siblings, and parents of Sona Jewelers’ employees.

 2. Entry:

  • Entry Coupons are not for sale; Participation in the Sona Jewelers Mega Giveaway 2023 is voluntary, and giveaway coupons are provided free of cost with your eligible purchase.
  • This is an In-store (Sona Jewelers, situated at 6 Marconi Ave, Iselin NJ – 08830) Giveaway only.
  • Customers who make a $1,000 purchase will receive an entry coupon to the sweepstakes. Purchases of gold coins, silver coins will not count towards the $1,000 purchase. Only purchases of jewelry will be considered. Any customers whose purchase is less than $1,000 of jewelry or any eligible individual who wishes to enter the sweepstakes without making a purchase may do so via the Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) outlined below.

    Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE):

    If you wish to enter the giveaway without making a purchase, you may do so by sending a standard-sized postcard with your name, address, phone number, and email address to Sona Jewelers 6, Marconi Ave Iselin, New Jersey, 08830

  • All AMOE entries must be postmarked by Dec 25th, 2023, and received by Dec 31st, 2023. Each postcard will count as one entry into the giveaway. Limit one AMOE entry per person

  • If you have made a purchase and received a coupon for entry, you may not use both the coupon and the AMOE method to enter. You must choose one method of entry; either the coupon or the AMOE, to be eligible for the giveaway.

  • Please note that incomplete or illegible postcards will not be considered. Sona Jewelers is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected AMOE entries. AMOE entries will have the same chance of winning as entries received through purchases.

  • Sona Jewelers will assign a coupon number to all AMOE postcard entries sent by the deadline mentioned above and will put the number in the giveaway draw.

 3. Entry Period:

  • The Giveaway begins on October 18, 2023, and ends on December 31, 2023.

 4. Prize Details:

  • Grand Giveaway: One (1) Tesla Model 3 car. Approximate retail value of $40,000
  • Second Giveaway: One (1) Sona Jeweler’s Store $2,500 gift card. Approximate retail value of $2500
  • Third Giveaway: One (1) Sona Jeweler’s Store $1,000 gift card. Approximate retail value of $1,000

 5. Winner Selection:

  • The winners will be selected through a random drawing within One week of the Giveaway’s end.
  • Winners will be contacted via the email address provided at the time of entry.
  • If a winner does not respond within five days of notification, an alternate winner will be selected.

 6. Prize Claim:

  • Winners must claim their prizes in person at Sona Jewelers located at 6 Marconi Ave, Iselin, NJ 08830.
  • Winner must present a valid photo ID for prize redemption.

 7. General Conditions:

  • This Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Sona Jewelers reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with these rules or that attempt to tamper with the giveaway.
  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sona Jewelers.
  • Sona Jewelers is not responsible for any technical issues, human error, or other factors that may compromise the integrity or fairness of the giveaway.

 8. Publicity:

  • By accepting a prize, winners agree to allow Sona Jewelers to use their name and likeness for promotional purposes.

 11. Modification and Cancellation:

Sona Jewelers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time, for any reason, including if the fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the giveaway is compromised.

 
12. Governing Law:

  • The laws of the state of New Jersey govern the Giveaway.

13. Odds of Winning:

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

For example, if there are 1,000 total eligible entries, and you have one entry, your odds of winning would be 1 in 1,000.


Additional Terms: Winner’s Participation in Physical and Social Media Events

  1. Winner’s Participation:
    • The winners will be requested to participate in different events, which may include both physical and social media events, set by Sona Jewelers.
  2. Types of Events:
    • Physical events may include but are not limited to, in-store events, promotional events, or other physical gatherings organized by Sona Jewelers.
    • Social media events may include but are not limited to, live streams, social media takeovers, contests, and other promotional activities conducted on Sona Jewelers’ official social media platforms.
  3. Schedule and Coordination:
    • Sona Jewelers will coordinate with the winner to schedule and plan the events. The events may be held at mutually agreed-upon times and locations.
  4. Event Content:
    • The winner is expected to engage in and contribute to the events actively. This may include participating in product demonstrations, sharing experiences with Sona Jewelers’ products, or other promotional activities.
  5. Publicity Release (Additional):
    • By participating in these events, the winner agrees to allow Sona Jewelers to use their name, likeness, and any content generated during these events for promotional purposes, including on the Sona Jewelers website and social media channels.
  6. Event Costs:
    • Sona Jewelers will cover the reasonable costs associated with these events, such as travel expenses (if required) and promotional materials.

 7. Documents and Paperwork

  • The winner of the giveaway must provide the following paperwork before receiving the prize:

    We are required to issue a 1099 M to the winner; therefore, please ensure that you have all of the following information available:
    1) Full name and mailing address
    2) Social Security Number
    3) A copy of your driver’s license
